Been working on the chiton a bit more… all the hemming is now done, so i’m starting to add the red beads;

given that i’m calling the whole piece ‘the witch from the boiling sea’ as a nod the origins of the word eczema, i’m using separated embroidery thread  and knotting it on the wrong side as a tribute to the origins of the word ‘nodule’, which derives from the latin ‘nodus’ (knot). I’m still using the rash pattern as my basis for the placement of the beads, and once i’ve placed the red beads i’ll do the gold ones.
