oh wow, the mutantscope is really taking shape – i went in with the fine brush to cover up all the bits i’d missed and brushed it with gold to pick up all the little fibrous surface details – i’m back to enjoying myself again, huzzah!

so, todays progress:

the only thing i’m not convinced of is the frame – i may end up texturing it with distressed eva sheets, it seems the simplest solution

but now, on to the signage!
