Performers are required for a delightfully anachronistic vaudevillian romp to celebrate Walpurgisnacht 2013. Hosted by the ‘differently corporeal’ Nonny Warn, High Tea and Tales seeks to include a wide range of variety, magic, mentalism, song, dance, comedy, juggling, burlesque and much more. To be held in a small theatre space in central Birmingham and equal parts cabaret and performance art, High Tea and Tales is looking for performers in any discipline who have both a strong personal style and are willing to engage with the overall aesthetic of the work

Walpurgisnacht (30th April) is also known as ‘the other Halloween’ and like its more famous sister is a night when the veils between realities are at their thinnest. We’re looking for performers who could feasibly have stepped through this veil, and as such High Tea and Tales welcomes the sinister, the eccentric and the unusual!
To apply please forward a description of your act, including how you feel it would fit with this theme, a CV and links to websites or footage of previous performances to nonny@vickyroden.com by the 28th February 2013.
