An exhibition sandwich on college, please

The exhibition is over! My goodness, what a hectic few weeks – it went really quickly though, and it was great to get that kind of perspective on the work – not just in terms of the public reaction, with a shopping centre being a very public space, but also in the context of the gallery…

permanence

I find private views completely anticlimactic – all the effort and frantic frustration, panic and tension boiling down to a glass of cheap red and a hint of ‘where did all the effort go?’. there’s also the tiny niggles and worries and little things that go wrong that make you think ‘ah well…’. in a previous life…

… i designed monsters for Doctor Who: I’ve decided to have two mutoscopes, one working and one with an ‘out of order’ sign. i’ve also swapped the stands around. so, next steps: touch up and embellish the mutantscope increase the stand height of the original work out signage  fix the barrels to the stands when…
